who's behind the lens
I'm Jaleesah: Dutch-Curaçaoan, a multipassionate jack of all trades who never wanted to settle for just one thing. A former child and family therapist turned model, creator, retreat host and artist. A year ago I decided to trade my life in the Netherlands for a slow island life that suited me and my passions best. I gave up everything I knew and moved across the world to Siquijor, a small island in the Philippines.In less than a year I've built an audience of more than 74,000 people across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok who follow the island life, the work, and the story of leaving. I've hosted Siquijor's largest music festival for an audience of 7,000, create content daily and I model, direct and produce here.That matters for your brand for one reason: I'm not flying in for a week. I know which beach has the right light at four in the afternoon, I have friends with really aesthetic native houses and I know what waterfall is empty on a Friday. That local knowledge is the difference between a shoot that works and a shoot that costs you a week.

How it works: we start with a short call about your brand, your products and the look you're after. I come back with a concept and a fixed quote. Once we've agreed, you ship your products (allow 3–4 weeks for delivery and customs) and we lock in a shoot date. I handle concept, styling, locations, permits, crew and talent, and you receive the finished material within 14 days of the shoot.
